What Training Can I Get?
WLTAC brings together some of the best trainers in Southern Arizona. Because of this, we are able to offer a wide variety of training.

Training Progression
We provide our courses as a progression of training in a martial art. Your progress is based on a mutual understanding between the instructors and you about where you are in the continuum of the education and training we provide.
The goal is near-perfection on your current level before progressing to the next. Our courses are designed and priced to be taken multiple times. Train – Always. Here is a visual of the course progression and the course descriptions
Pistol Training Track
- Pistol Fundamentals Clinic – Everyone starts here. It is for all skill levels.
- Defensive Pistol I
- Defensive Pistol 2
After those have been taken (some multiple times), you can progress to the Defensive Pistol 3 series of classes (which you should also take multiple times):
- Compromised Positions
- Low Light Considerations
- Vehicle-Based Incidents
- Counter-Ambush – Pistol / Rifle Collab
- Small Team Ops – Pistol / Rifle Collab
Rifle Training Track
- Carbine Fundamentals Clinic – Everyone starts here. It is for all skill levels.
- Fighting Carbine 1
- Fighting Carbine 2
After those have been taken (some multiple times), you can progress to the Fighting Carbine 3 series of classes (which you should also take multiple times):
- Compromised Positions
- Low Light Considerations
- Vehicle-Based Incidents
Shotgun Training Track
- Defensive Shotgun 1
- Defensive Shotgun 2
Lifesaving Courses
- Level 1 Lifesaver (non-firearms)
- Levvel 2 Lifesaver (non-firearms)

Note: The plan registrant must attend the courses. You cannot send other people in your place. Exceptions for immediate family members on Plus and Plus 2 accounts only. This means, if you cannot make the course, but your plus 1 or plus 2 can make it, they can come to the course without you, as plus 1 or plus 2. No one can take your place in a course.
* For qualifying and requalifying former/retired LEOs. Ammo and any applications or additional fees are not included. Ammo not included.
** You still have to earn your chips for the various levels of courses. You cannot take a course you are not chipped for. This is a safety consideration.
